I can't say enough about Dr. Opper--his professionalism, his thoughtfulness, his empathy, his skills, his humanity. Dr. Opper is the "ideal medical practitioner." He and one other medical practitioner (also with Novant) tie for the best doctors in my life.

Dr. Opper is a "1 in a million " physician!! He's been my Gastroenterologist for many years (& my family members also) & I have the utmost respect for him!! He's very compassionate & listens to my concerns & he's always , as he did this visit too, trying to find out reasons why something particular is going on with my gastro area, including looking up the prescription meds I'm taking to see if they could be causing any of my problems. I trust him completely & he's also personable , which makes me feel that he really cares!! His staff has always been very helpful & kind as well!

Great personal care from staff to nurse & doctor. Dr Opper was aware of my status, history, and family history before our conversation began. Discussion of my concerns were addressed in a way I (as a senior) fully understand. I will return next year for both colonoscopy & endoscopy, getting in touch with the office if I have problems or questions prior to that time.

When attempting to make the appointment, the appointment desk was very vague, repeating the same 5 word answer to my questions -"Dr.Opper has no appointments." She would not elaborate on her responses as to why and up to what time Dr. Opper had no appointments, even when I kept asking for clarification. I finally gave up and took an appointment with the PA and then sent a message through the portal, getting a quick response of an appointment with Dr. Opper a day before they had scheduled me with the PA.

Dr Opper and his staff are always very nice and courteous! I owe my life to Dr. Opper and his care has always been excellent! He cares about his patients!!

Dr. Opper is extremely warm and gives you the time you need with your appointment. I waited months to see him and it was worth the wait. I wouldn't want to see another provider. He is stellar .

The on the telephone schedulers have always been sharp and rude. I realize they deal with all personalities. We are patients for 25+ years. Turnover rate of front office staff is constant. Therefore no "personable " ppl. We only continue to go to NH Gastrointestinal because of Dr Opper who is wonderful and extremely knowledgeable.

Doctor requested I return in 4 months. Was unable to make the appointment because " the schedule has not been built out that far". I have experienced this problem for a couple of years. The scheduling process is broken. Have not experienced this at any other doctors office. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!
