My grandmother was a nurse for over 40 years, and I thought she was the coolest person on Earth. I wanted to go into healthcare to be like her. I chose obstetrics and gynecology because it incorporates the best parts of medicine. I get to see patients throughout their lifetime and develop relationships, and I get to practice in multiple settings - office, operating room, and labor and delivery.
