At my age,my bodily functions are changing. Dr. McCarthy (and her nurse) listened, asked questions for clarification, confirmed my responses, and offered options for treatment. After options were discussed between us, I made the decision of how to progress with the knowledge that Dr. McCarthy would work with me to id another option if this one was unsuccessful.

The entire staff are so pleasant. From the greeting when you arrive, to speaking with the nurse and to when the doctor is with you. I travel from across the river to see Dr. McCarthy and it’s worth the drive.

I am very pleased with Dr. McCarthy and glad I was finally able to get in to become an established patient. However, I had to wait months to get an appointment and only got in when I did because there was a cancellation. Novant Health needs to hire more female gynecologists to take the pressure off.
