I was always fascinated with how the human body functions and gravitated to - and excelled in - science classes. I wanted a career that allowed me to make a positive impact on people's daily lives.

As an OB/GYN, I have the career I always dreamed of. I actively listen to my patients and take the time necessary to find out what's important to them and how I can help. And if the issue is something I can't actively manage, I refer patients to the correct specialist.

Dr McCarthy was wonderful! I had actually been recommended to her previously, but was not able to get an appointment at the time. She listened to all of my issues and concerns and explained possible causes and what she wanted to do during the visit to check everything.
