Gregory Musa, MD

Dr. Musa has been my primary care doctor for 30 years. He is extremely knowledgeable and has gone out of his way to address my concerns over the years. He is one of the very best doctors I have ever had.

Dr. Musa is one of the finest Physicians in the Novant system! He is the most thorough physician and responsive to our concerns! He and his nursing staff are wonderful! The front desk staff is outstanding!

My first encounter with him was in the ICU when he came to see a patient. I was the charge nurse in the ICU at the time and I could tell right away he was an excellent physician by the way he interacted with the patient. Dr Musa is the finest physician I have ever gone to.

Dr. Musa was concerned about some aspects of my medication and advised me to consult further with the doctors who had prescribed the amount and also observed that I had some possible infection in my foot for which he prescribed an antibiotic to help clear it up.

The nurses and lab staff were wonderful. I was particularly impressed by the lab tech who took my blood. She got it first try and painlessly even though I was dehydrated. The staff and Dr. Musa, always make sure I understand everything & always make sure I am taken care of. I was in a vehicle accident & this appt was a follow up appt. I was impressed thst Dr. Musa had taken the time to review what happend in the ER, because when he walked in the room, he started asking me about how I was doing & he knew everything thst had occured in the ER. I it very comforting to know he takes the time to be informed & to stay informed about me and anything that occurs to me.

The ONLY COMPLAINT was that I had an appointment for an ULTRASOUND following my appt. with Dr. Musa. The ultrasound technician was NOT PRESENT which resulted in me having to make another appoint for Mon. I didn't learn about this until time for the ultrasound appointment. disappointed!

Examination, diagnosis and checkout was all completed early. Time frame and any next steps were also provided in case treatment was not effective. No need for that at this point, as symptoms have disappeared after just 2 days. I highly recommend Dr. Musa, his staff and all staff at Novant First Charlotte Physicians in Matthews.
