I have been seeing Dr. Kotz for several years now. He is awesome! He listens, he explains things really well in plain language that I can understand, and I feel very confident in the level of care I am receiving.

Dr Kotz is the best oncologist that I have seen. His dedication to his patients is what saved my life when another oncologist would have killed me with his ineptitude.

This was my first experience with Dr. Kotz and the Novant (Zimmer) Cancer Center. My condition is very serious, and involves much personal and family concern regarding my odds of survival and the quality of life for the time I have remaining. I must say that my wife and I left our first visit feeling relieved, informed, and confident that we are in the best possible hands as we move forward with treatment. We are extremely happy and optimistic. Our doc and his staff are terrific (professionally and personally), and the expediency and communication regarding scheduling and logistics has been great!

This was my first visit to this facility, provider and medical team. I was impressed by the professionalism of the team involved. Also, the quick response to a question asked afterwards on “my chart”.

Scheduling should inquire what time’s future appointment would work best for patients. This would be more practical than always having to call and switch times.

Medications that I no longer take are still listed on my after visit summary. It was just short of an hour before I was seen, beyond my appointment time.

This is the first time in several years that I was not seen at my appointed time for my annual visit. Called back 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. No one in the upstairs waiting area to ask about if just running behind or if I had been overlooked. I was about to go downstairs and let them know I would need to reschedule

Dr Kotz gave me lots of information and answered all my questions. He was professional, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. I was happy I got to see him.

I have been told by several physicians my anemia is result of a sniped small intestine with Whipple procedure in 2012. This began my life with blood transfusions with low H&H I know I do not have any bleed had several endoscopy nothing found.

I think it's difficult for a patient and provider (doctor) to be able to feel comfortable with each other when you only get together for a few minutes once a year. Dr. Kotz was intense in his review of my file which helped me to feel he was trying hard to be sure he didn't miss anything.
