Dr. Spencer was excellent in my first appointment with him. His concerns and suggestions made me feel very comfortable.

This cardiologist is phenomenal. I was very pleased with him. He answered questions before I asked and ordered test that I was going to ask him to order plus an additional one.

Been going to a cardiologist for 40 years and by far Dr Spencer is the best I have seen. Even in DC and Virginia.

Other than listening to my heart with a stethoscope, no other instruments were used. My appointment lasted less than 5 minutes

I would recommend Dr. Spencer and the Novant Health Heart/Vascular Inst., and I have. Staff is always courteous and helpful. At appointments, Dr Spencer always knows what's going on with my whole medical condition, not just my heart. He never sounds like he doesn't know anything about my particular medical situation outside of his specialty as some other doctors do. He's easy to express concerns to and doesn't interrupt and brush them away. Very professional in his manner, while also being very considerate and respectful. I feel very confident of his care, and this doesn't come easily for me.

I have always received very good care from Dr Spencer and staff.

The left heart catheterization went smoothly. However, I had critical issues afterwards. The staff took perfect care of me. I had several negative problems once I was moved to room 320. I would definitely recommend the cardiac unit, but would not recommend the rest of the hospital.

Dr. Spencer is the best physician I have at Novant. He looks at the whole person andtheir lifestyle to help patients. Diet and lifestyle is very important to me in life. He understands that and incorporates that in his plan. He is the only Novant doctor that I have seen that does that.
