I have always been drawn to science, and that curiosity took me on a deep academic path before I ever saw my first patient. After earning a bachelor's degree in chemistry and Spanish, I pursued graduate studies in biochemistry and went on to complete a Ph.D. in biological chemistry. That research background gave me a strong foundation for understanding disease at its root, and it shapes how I approach diagnosis and treatment today.
