I was nervous before the appointment because I've seen and experienced myself and others getting ignored, talked over, or dismissed by medical professionals. Andrea immediately made me feel comfortable and heard. She validated my experiences without necessarily confirming or denying the diagnosis, something I greatly appreciated. She did not interrupt me except to clarify and let me finish relaying everything without talking over me. She validated everything I had experienced myself and what I had learned from others, and what little details I had misunderstood, she clarified. She answered all of my questions, no matter how specific, and did not make me feel negatively for asking. 10/10 I am glad she is guiding me through this diagnosis process :)
