I was a little worried about being with a new doctor but after a few visits I have come to like him and think that he's caring and informative and listens to my concerns. A very enjoyable visit.

My experience with Novant Health Rheumatalogy and Arthritis - Westbrook has always been very positive. The ladies in reception are very efficient and friendly, whether in person or by phone. Dr. Gay's nurse is not only professional, but also kind. Dr. Gay listens to my symptoms and, after a thorough exam, offers options to help me cope with chronic pain.

I felt that the doctor had read my history n was aware of my current concerns. He was also aware of my upcoming visits with my primary care physician.I was comfortable that he got a good idea about my overall health.

I know Dr Gay is smart but I get little eye contact from him. For the second visit in a row, he did not answer my questions. No response whatsoever. He is so busy typing, even when I'm not talking, so I do not even sure what he's typing about. I would actually change doctors but know that's not ethical within a practice and I want to stay with Novant. I highly recommend that this practice offers informational handouts related to the various diseases they treat. I'm having to learn about my disease from WebMD, and feel like I need to be learning it from Dr Gay.

Dr gay is exceptional and professional in every way. He has been my doctor for over 15 years and he has always been extremely focused on my care and he understands the reason for communicating with the patient.

This is the 2nd time I have seen Dr. Gay so he doesn’t know me that well yet. His exam was thorough but he is very dry in his delivery of care. Not chatty just straight forward, no small talk. I hope he can loosen up a bit so he can begin to have a more personal relationship with his patients. The office staff is great.

The nurses were great, the lab was amazing. But the doctor sincerely needs some more training or a different career. I've left a Google review on my feelings and my experience. I'm not willing to take the time to type them in here as well. I will never come back to this place and I wouldn't recommend any one else to either. I left in tears, confused, and defeated.

Dr Gay has been my rheumatologist for quite a few years. I’ve always liked him and he answers my questions. When he moved his office to Winston Salem, I followed him there. Dr Gay and his staff have always been courteous and easy to talk to. I live in Archdale, south of High Point and I don’t mind making the drive to Winston Salem at all. I’d give him and his staff a “10” without any hesitation.
