I always recommend Dr. McDevitt to others. He not only takes care of his patients from a medical standpoint, but he also understands how my job, family and I can affect my health. He helps me to prioritize my health and well-being. He is the biggest cheerleader for his patients. I am not a number on a scale, my health and well being are more important than any one number - even though I see myself as a failure when the scale goes in the wrong direction. He reminds me that I have been successful. I am healthier than I was prior to my surgery. I have lost over 100 pounds and kept is off for going on 13 years. He always asks me what he can do to keep my journey on a healthy path. I cannot stress that he cares about his patients. I am grateful he helped me start and maintain my journey. I had made lifetime twice with weight watchers but each year it seemed the "gimmick" to get people in the door changed. This is not the case in this office. Dr. McDevitt gave us the tools and motivates us to feel good about ourselves and our individual journeys.
