First visit and new to North Carolina. Dr Bird was well prepared, had reviewed my history from previous providers via MyChart. She is a great help in bridging my transition from out of state.

This was my first visit with Dr Bird. She was wonderful! Thorough, professional and approachable! If I didn't adore my primary in this practice, I would see her for everything. Her response time for scheduling the follow up appointments I need were amazing.

We discussed a new medication and Dr Byrd took time to research and explain fully.

I am a new patient having recently moved here and have typical chronic health issues of a 70 yr old. We lucked out when we selected Dr. Kara Bird who was accepting new patients with Novant Health. Dr. Bird was thorough in her review of prior relevant medical history; made referrals to various specialists I need in order to maintain my health care; arranged for whatever tests or labs I needed; took the time to explain test results; and showed concern while also being efficient with her time and mine. Again, my husband and I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Bird.

Dr. Bird is a welcomed breath of fresh healthcare: a listener with true compassion. Very, VERY rare in this state of healthcare and striking me personally, when I view the system as a “senior” healthcare retiree.
