When I was a teenager, my mom had a heart attack while in her 40s. Throughout that experience, her physicians were able to explain what was happening and helped our family feel at ease during an incredibly stressful time. That stayed with me. My hope is to offer other patients and families that same sense of comfort and reassurance.
