Dr. Spivey was curious from the time he walked into the room: shaking my hand and asking about my day. That made me feel good inside. He took time to listen to me, giving me a chance to tell him exactly why I had the problem and when the accident happened and my pain problems: where the pain is located, when it hurts, and the extension of my pain. He gave me shoulder time to relax after see what I can and can't do. We talked about what I wanted to do, the down time, and what is/was going to happen after my surgery. He really understood me not wanting steroids. Meeting with Dr. Spivey was exactly what doctors are supposed to do; take the time to get to know your patients, make them feel at easy, and receiving the care of feeling like family.
