I needed help quickly due to upcoming eye surgery. His views concentrated strictly on long term which means much delay. Might have to cancel my eye surgery needed asap.

I never had such a truly nice experience at a Drs office prior.

My entire experience at "Novant Health New Hanover Primary Care" in Wilmington was excellent and I felt comfortable and respected the entire time. I was very nicely greeted and welcomed by the front desk reception staff who noted that it was my first time there and everyone from then on was also friendly and attentive. I saw a lot of people for my first day, from: reception, nursing, and Dr. Daniel P. Dawson to even lab and x-ray technicians after my initial appointment. Everyone that I needed to see or be helped by was so nice and helped me make whatever follow-up appointments I needed in the future. I left so happy that I'd found a great place to stay here in Wilmington and I don't have to continue my search for a primary care provider or specialists. I even came home and told my wife about how great it was and how highly I recommend it. 10/10 recommend to everyone, after this great first experience.

The doctors, nurses, receptionists, and other workers are exceptional! However, Novant as a company is not patient forward and is more concerned with money than timely patient care. I was made to wait while receptionists tried to figure out how to invoice me for my diagnostics since I was self pay, which this company is not friendly towards. Those trying to help had to find and bother my doctor to answer questions about billing, which he has no hand in, interrupting him with his next patient. All this took nearly an hour. I was in pain, sick, miserable, about to break down in tears in front of lab waiting until my husband calmed me. Both me and my husband were sick and trying to just get care and go home. But we couldn't because Novant would rather ensure their pockets lined than see patients cared for. Then I had to still go through the actual tests and imaging. If I had any stake in Novant I would be mortified to show my face.
