My path to midwifery began at the bedside. As a labor and delivery nurse, I saw firsthand how access to education could meaningfully improve patient outcomes. That experience inspired me to continue my own education and pursue a degree in midwifery, so I could expand my ability to care for women throughout the lifespan.
