I knew from a very young age - before kindergarten - that I wanted to become a pediatrician. That conviction stayed with me throughout my formative years, even though there were no physicians in our family and I rarely visited a doctor myself. It wasn't until early adulthood, as my faith grew, that I recognized this desire as a calling on my life. That understanding carried me through the long educational years at Davidson College and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Spies is the best of the best. We love MCC but if he were to go to another practice we would follow. That's how much we love him as our pediatrician. He lights up the room with his personality and my kids adore him. This man was made to work with little ones. He is so knowledgeable and we are blessed to have a pediatrician that we can trust with our children's health.
