The care provider is friendly and professional, but in my two visits with her the visit has felt very rushed. In my most recent visit, I felt like I had to interrupt her so I could ask about another area of concern before she left the room.

The provider was extremely rushed, speaking extremely fast and rushing through the conversation. She literally crossed the room and tried walking out the door to exit in the middle of the short conversation without asking if I had any questions or further concerns. I had to stop her from leaving to ask about the medication she was prescribing me with regards to safety with lactation - she never told me the name of the medication or explained my condition in detail. She told me it would all be in the appointment notes and that I should refer to my child's pediatrician about safety with lactation. The assistant told me the name of the prescription after the PA left the room, which was a ketoconazole cleanser - I had previously been prescribed a ketoconazole cream from my primary care doctor and therefore was familiar with the safety of the medicine for my situation. A simple glance at my medical chart or verbally telling me the name of the medicine would have given the PA the information needed to answer my question. Also, a lactation consultant would be the correct referral, not my child's ped.
