I am a board-certified medical oncologist with more than 20 years of experience, much of it helping patients from Rowan County and neighboring areas.

During my career, I've helped my patients using bone marrow biopsies and chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted treatments to identify and fight more than a dozen types of cancer. I've never had a bad experience when seeing Dr Wimmer or his office personnel.
