When I mentioned an incident few mths back on my nose when I needed immediate Dermatology attention & couldn’t get appointment for 2+ weeks Dr Sturgill immediately said “next time text me directly on MyChart”. I had a little problem and they worked me in and took care of the problem. Can’t ask for anything more.

I felt Dr. Sturgill did not address my main concerns. I know skin tags grow back but I wanted them removed. He dismissed my request and did not remove any of them. I am planning on changing dermatologist to someone who I feel more comfortable with. It may not be the ideal treatment to remove skin tags that grow back in time but that was one of my main reasons for the visit. I feel better when they are removed and I have the right to see a doctor that will provide care I want. I have another appointment in 4 months but am hoping to see someone else. Maybe someone that will listen. I use to really like Dr Sturgill but this visit he seemed off putting.

I have been seeing Dr. William Sturgill for many years. He takes care of several of my family members. Great physician!

At a previous visit some precancerous cells were found on my face. These were successfully removed by Novant Dermatology. I now have a periodic exam to examine how my skin is doing. I am trying to do the things necessary to ensure that this and other skin conditions stay under control. I feel that the staff at Novant Dermatology cares about me.

The only problem with getting care was getting an appointment to see the doctor. I was originally quoted a 12 month lead time before I could get to be seen. I only got in because the doctor told my wife he had a cancelation that day.

Dr Sturgell and his staff are always very friendly, and professional and I know if I have any questions or need anything, they are knowledgeable and ready to help.
