I knew I wanted to be a pediatrician even as a young child. I have always been passionate about science, and children have always been a source of joy and inspiration. My mother and both of my grandmothers were teachers who taught me to see the wonder of children of all ages, personalities and abilities. Combining these loves into a career as a pediatrician has been a fulfilling way to spend my life.
