Cotawald medical clinic is at least a 15 out of 10! They (from front desk to doctor & EVERYONE in between) are fantastic. They CARE! This is not "just a job" for each & every one of them. Dr Mueller is by far the BEST family doctor I have ever had in all my 62 years. It will be a truly sad day when he eventually retires. Love love love this practice & recommend it when ever anyone asks (& even sometimes to people I don't know but are bemoaning their PCP)

Entire family has been with Dr Mueller for over 20 year's.

Checkin at the office did not go well. I had the first appointment of the morning at 8am. I arrived at 7:55 and spoke to the receptionist. Apparently she didn’t hit the final submit button on my record and I sat until 8:30 before anybody realized the reason I had not been called back. Also, I checked in online and there should be a reminder to fast for a well check.

Very nice visit, as usual, with one exception, I had informed the lab tech of a previous bicep reattachment surgery on my left arm, when she inserted needle to draw blood she hit scar tissue, extremely painful. I know it was not intentional, yet had she actually listened to me prior this could had been avoided

My main criteria for any physician is they are competent, they listen, and they care. Dr Mueller is all that and more. I no longer live in Charlotte but I drive 90 minutes (one way) to see Dr Mueller. He listens and he understands. I would not consider changing to another physician. I could go on and with positive attributes about him but I doubt I need to do that. Why? Because I expect he treats everyone special — so you have likely heard this all before. Finally, let me say, my father was a physician, so I know how it feels when you know the doctor really cares. I get that from Dr Mueller. He is a great doctor. He is a really nice man as well!

My appointment was for a blood pressure recheck following the start of a new dose of Chlorthalidone. When the readings were still not in the optimum zone, Dr Mueller suggested a reduced dose of Losartan to be taken in combination with the earlier med. He made it clear that I did not need to worry about the issue, but that they were going to try to find a treatment that provided the desired results. His calm demeanor and genuine interest in my family and me always make my visits a pleasant experience.
