We are new to Novant coming from the VA medical center's care for over twenty years. It is definitely different out here as a Medicare and Tricare for life patient. We are learning what we need to have as far as supplementals and such. It is a step-by-step process determining necessity. So, we are taking it slowly. The Novant folks seem to be very integrated and that was appreciated having left the VA with Duke University integrated with the VA.

They make you feel like family they listen to you they don’t act like they have to be a hurry they give all the time that they need to help you with everything and they really care about you !

I just feel as a senior citizen the medical field isn't as engaged with their patients as they used to be. Whenever given the opportunity you just get a referral. I want a Doctor that actually gets to know me & my issues.
