Dr. McClung handled a precarious emotional health situation with my daughter with knowledge, empathy, and grace. My daughter can be dismissive of advice given to her if the person providing it seems to not know what they're doing or if it seems they don't actually care about the situation. Dr. McClung made my daughter feel heard and made her an active decision maker in her own healthcare, making her feel like she had complete ownership of her care plan.
