Dr. Kannan took her time to listen and answered all my questions, she made you feel very comfortable to talk with her about any concerns . I am highly recommended her to my friends and family.

Dr.Kannan aligned with my expectations for a caring physician. Prior to my appointment I could tell she read the notes and recommendations from my visit to the hospital in early January. She listened and answered all my questions. She took time to show me and talk about my lab results from the hospital. I had a mammogram 2 weeks prior and hadn't received any results. I was nervous and concerned. She was able to find the results and read them to me while showing me on the screen. She immediately put things in place to follow-up with the recommendations by hospital physicians. I have already received referrals for specialists and appointments have been scheduled. This comes days after my appointment with her. Before leaving my appointment with Dr. Kannan she suggested I follow-up with her in 3 months which Is vital towards establishing trust and personal connection with a primary care physician (PCP). This comes less than a year after my PCP for 35 years retired. Thus far, I believe Dr. Kannan has shown me she is someone I can trust with my medical care long term. After the subpar physician I was previously a patient of, Novant Health has restored my trust. Thanks to Samantha Flake, the office manager, for listening to my concerns and taking immediate action towards getting the ball rolling to make sure my healthcare needs were met in a timely manner.
