Growing up in Portland, Oregon, I always wanted to use my interest in science and biology to help those around me and be a positive influence in the lives of others. I set out to make that dream a reality by earning my undergraduate degree in physiology before earning a master's degree in physician assistant studies.

My approach to patient care is based on treating the whole person with evidence-based medicine. I strive to find the root cause of any problem rather than merely treating symptoms...
