I specialize in surgical and medical management of cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal and other gynecologic cancers. I also serve as the lead physician for the Novant Health Cancer Institute in Charlotte.

Given the complexity of diagnosing and treating gynecologic cancer, and the rapid pace of innovation in the field, I have dedicated much of my career to clinical research and teaching.

When we discover cancer very unexpectantly Dr McDonald and staff were wonderful. I've kept up my check ups way past the 5 year mark. This year he assured me medically speaking it was not necessary to keep returning annually. Can't say enough about him and his team
