Nice people .

It was an uneventful and pleasant experience.

I like my doctor and all medical staff from the front desk to the techs and nurses in the waiting room areas. I never have an excessive wait time to be seen by my doctor.

Dr.Sharkey is a great doctor and wish there were more like him.

Dr. Sharky did the two most important things, (1) he listened to me (2) he took action as he promised.

I always have a pretty good experience when I come to this facility. Dr. Sharky is great. He’s always so down to earth, low key bubbly and friendly :). He just tells you what he recommends for you without judging your health condition, but encouraging you and telling you of the improvements he’s seen in your health. Personally, he’s one of my favorite doctors I’ve ever had. Definitely a doctor you can communicate easily with. And even if you don’t always want to hear that you can’t stop that medication you planned to get off of when you saw him, he’ll tell you what you need and what’s best for you, not just tell you what you want to hear and I appreciate that. This facility is very nice and clean too. The parking garage can get crowded, but I seem to always find a spot nearby, which shows how they keep the traffic moving with seeing patients in a timely manner. Definitely would recommend this doctor and facility to people for sure :) .

Dr Sharkey attended me when I had my heart attack and stems placed on June 29th, 2019 as an emergency. In November 2023 was admitted to Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center Hospital for 2 weeks. Dr Sharkey went above and beyond in every aspect of my health issues at that moment, not only the heart problems, but my previous Open Heart Surgery, my Lungs, Kidneys, and Liver functions, plus watch closely my anemia. He takes his time explaining everything that is taking place and what the plans to follow are. I am very blessed to have Dr Sharkey as my Cardiologist. His team members is wonderful as well.

This was a hastily arranged visit to satisfy the requirements for cardiac clearance for surgery. The physician seeing me had read my chart and was prepared. He explained some of the nuances of some of the testing I had had. He also gave me detailed instruction around stopping medication before surgery. All in all, a very good visit.

Doctor never listen to my heart at all. I thought a heart doctor would be interested in how the heart was sounding since he has me on medication for extra heart beat. Did schedule me for a stress test, since I complained about my heart hurting at times. ???????

Wonderful experience

Routine check-up (cardio) went as expected. An EKG test was run. Dr. Sharkey and all Staff did a good job.

I feel that Dr. Sharkey understood my concerns and problems and connected my family history and 8 years worth of bloodwork to my problems and started me on a medication and ordered a test which was done 4 days later. I finally feel that I may be able to control my genes with help from Dr. Sharkey.
