As a visual learner, I have always been most keen on solving problems I can see firsthand. Dermatology is a specialty that regularly allows me to see my patients' concerns before treating them. The specialty is also one of the few that allows providers to care for men, women and children, which gives each of my days a welcome variety. I also get to see patients in a medical setting and complete surgical procedures, which also makes the specialty unique.
