Before pursuing medicine, I took a path that shaped who I am as a physician. After earning a bachelor's degree in English from Princeton University, I spent three years teaching high school and coaching in Tampa, Fla. That experience deepened my appreciation for how people learn and grow, and it continues to inform how I connect with the families in my practice.
