About

Growing up in Colombia, South America, I was very aware of how complicated pregnancy can be. My mother lost my brother just after giving birth and delivered my sister at only 28 weeks gestation due to an undiagnosed uterine malformation. Learning about these struggles and seeing the impacts they have on my family made me want to serve women and provide the best care possible before, during and after pregnancies. Women's health was a natural choice.

My experience with Dr. Aguirre was disappointing. During my visit, she seemed rushed and came across as cold in her responses. I had several questions prepared, but I felt discouraged from asking them because the interaction felt condescending. At one point, it seemed as though she assumed my questions were based on information from social media rather than addressing my concerns respectfully. I left feeling unheard and would prefer not to see her again in the future.

Pressing on my stomach to locate baby was a little uncomfortable. Never had an ob do this so it was new for me.

First time meeting Dr. Aguirre for my anatomy scan. She didn't introduce herself very well or build a rapport. She didn't share any info about the anatomy scan or ask how I was feeling or if I had any questions. I drive an hour and 15 mins because I've always felt like a person not just a patient with the other doctors. If I see her again I hope it's a different experience.
