About

Growing up in Colombia, South America, I was very aware of how complicated pregnancy can be. My mother lost my brother just after giving birth and delivered my sister at only 28 weeks gestation due to an undiagnosed uterine malformation. Learning about these struggles and seeing the impacts they have on my family made me want to serve women and provide the best care possible before, during and after pregnancies. Women's health was a natural choice.

Pressing on my stomach to locate baby was a little uncomfortable. Never had an ob do this so it was new for me.

First time meeting Dr. Aguirre for my anatomy scan. She didn't introduce herself very well or build a rapport. She didn't share any info about the anatomy scan or ask how I was feeling or if I had any questions. I drive an hour and 15 mins because I've always felt like a person not just a patient with the other doctors. If I see her again I hope it's a different experience.

This was my first time meeting this provider and I felt since she was running behind clearly she did not have enough time to review my chart or history. The provider was kind, but I felt like my whole appointment was rushed due to her being behind.
