Excellent care from first visit, to surgery, to follow up. Wonderful group!

I felt like more than just another patient with pelvic health issues. She was not rushed and was very informative. She explained everything she was doing during the exam. Her personality and caring attitude immediately put me at ease. I was no longer ashamed of my obesity and nervous about the examination. One concern I always seem to have especially with anything you have to get even partially underdress with is the provider talking about me when I leave. This was not the case. I felt at ease and confident she would not discuss how obsess I was with others. I have actually been in a procedure room with a physician that made a couple sentences about the persons obesity. That is the biggest reason I now have this extreme anxiety. I found Dr. Braxton very professional, yet extremely personable. She was compassionate, had an excellent bedside manner, knowledgeable, explained options well, and made me feel like she cared about me as a person. Amazingly at the end with a true caring non rush and with compassion asked what questions I had for her. She actually seemed to care that I had questions and that I was not a bother. I am not used to physicians that I don't get the feeling based on body language, and tone of voice. Very refreshing and gives me hope in the medical community. I know the corporations they work for tend to push them to see more and more patients in a day to the point they can't help but to feel pushed/rushed and although some try not to show it to the patient it to the patient they do. Even the really good ones are like this. It is refreshing to to feel confident and comfortable with a physician. Based on my new patient visit, I will definitely recommend her. I am hopeful that other visits to go as well.

Care provider answered my questions, and explained things so that I could understand. Talked to me about options. Told me the risks and benefits. I will recommend this care provider to family and friends.

Dr Braxton was excellent. She went over many options and we discussed the benefits and risks for each. She was very understanding and answered all of my questions.
