About

I developed an interest in surgical procedures in medical school, but I wanted longer-term relationships with my patients than most surgeons typically have. My work in a women's shelter during my medical school years led me to want to help women specifically. Obstetrics and gynecology allowed me to care for patients throughout each season of their lives - and to provide surgical and procedural care when needed.
