About

As the oldest of three siblings and multiple cousins, I was always taking care of younger children. I have always appreciated the wonder kids have and the way they see the world; it's so magical. I've also always liked the way kids don't hide their feelings or mince words, which is refreshingly honest. Being a pediatrician allows me to keep my connections to that wonderful, magical world, while using my love of science to help children grow up as healthy and strong as possible.

Dr Slechta and her student with her were very attentive and did not undermine my concerns. Considered all options/causes and set up an ultrasound, which helped make clear what was causing the pain/swelling in my neck. I now have a follow up with ENT for more testing.
