My path to orthopedic surgery began on the football field in college. Following the team physician around gave me a firsthand look at what the specialty could offer. That experience inspired me to pursue medicine and become board-certified in orthopedic surgery.

Spine surgery is especially meaningful to me because it can make a real difference in people's lives. In some cases, it can help patients walk again, reduce pain and enhance their overall quality of life.
