My path to the practice of pain medicine began with a personal experience. In 2016, I had a serious accident tearing my bicep tendon and breaking my leg, which required surgery. My husband has undergone cervical fusion for his neck two times. Living with chronic pain has been part of our lives for many years, and that reality shaped my desire to help others manage their pain, both physically and mentally.
