My interest in behavioral health led me to choose medicine as a career. As I went through training, I not only got to incorporate behavioral (or mental) health into caring for patients, but I also got to experience the variety of people and pathology that family medicine brings.

Dr. Patel was very thorough. She explained everything she was going to do. I was able to ask questions and she answered them. I was a new patient and I had a hard time walking so I was in a row later rolling around and when it was time for me to do the blood work she had to check come to me
