About

My path to medicine began far from any clinic or classroom. While serving a church mission in the Caribbean, I witnessed people suffering and dying from illnesses that would have been easily treated in the United States. Seeing that disparity left a lasting impression on me. When I returned home and began working in the healthcare system, I saw that access issues were harming patients here, too. That experience shaped everything about why and how I practice.
