Dr. Howell is thorough and attentive, really listens and always responds well to all my questions. He is greatly appreciated! If he isn't sure about something, he looks it up or refers me to someone else. Another person (I don't know her name) had to draw blood for my labs in the patient room since the lab was too busy. I was very impressed with her skills, as, often lab techs will have to stick me more than once or painfully gouge the needle around after it's inserted. This "substitute" person was successful on the first stick, did not have to gouge/move needle around and was able to get all 3 tubes, even though I was somewhat dehydrated for fasting for many hours prior to labs. I wish I knew her name. She is African American with long hair. She earned "gold stars" for her skills and kindness!
