I have recently retired, but prior to I worked in healthcare management for over 30 years. I always used my medical visits as opportunities to learn. Some visits were very poor and most were very good. I would have to rank my visit to the Novant Cancer Center an Dr. Gentile as excellent. If I were still working I would have gone back to my staff bragging about the professionalism and kindness each and everyone in the Novant office extended. I have always believed the patient deserves an experience of helpfulness, trust and compassion. I am thankful for my experience!

The professional demeanor of all of the staff combined with their personal care and concern was just the right combination to make this visit as enjoyable as possible under the circumstances. She got me in the very next day and spent a ton of time with my husband and me to understand all details, next steps, potential direction with procedures based on what we know, names on the team that will be helping me. She is very personable and has a gentle demeanor which makes the appointments much more enjoyable.
