Growing up with a family member in medicine gave me an early appreciation for the impact healthcare clinicians can have on the people around them. That influence stayed with me and ultimately shaped my decision to pursue a career in healthcare. My specialty felt like a natural fit: I wanted to be a trusted resource for women and families in the Triad.

McCall Barney was one of the best providers I have ever seen. She sat with me for over an hour and answered my questions in a thorough and precise way. While also showing care for me as a patient. She eased A LOT of worries that I have about pregnancy and assured me the team at Novant was caring. After having a HORRIBLE experience at another medical group, she made my worries about this journey virtually disappear. She was overall amazing.
