Coming from a family of healthcare workers and teachers, I always knew I wanted to help people. As I got older, medicine caught my interest. I worked as a certified nurse assistant for a few years before becoming a physician assistant so I could be more consistently involved in my patients' care. I have loved every step of my medical career, working with patients of all ages in both of my roles.
