Armed with a degree in music, I began my career as a music therapist on an end-stage unit. I began to learn about disease processes and was fascinated. I knew I wanted to go into medicine.

My approach to treating patients is a personal one. I like getting to know my patients on a personal level. I want to have real conversations with them, learn about their families, their interests, their hobbies.

It would have been nice if she introduced herself to my husband when she came into the room. I thought she was there to take me for an x-ray before she started talking to me about my condition. Then I realized who she was.

Courtney was awesome and really took time to examine my shoulders and review the MRIs before deciding where to put the cortisone shots. She got Kate to assist with an ultrasound to ent the shots went to the exact right spots. My shoulders already feel 90% better!
