My mother and grandmother were nurses, so you could say that medicine runs in my family. I felt called at a young age to become an internist and pediatrician.

My philosophy on patient care begins with listening. I want to learn from my patients if there are any social conditions in their home or work environment having a negative impact on their health. And if there are, I want to discuss how we can help alleviate those.

Dr. Smith is wonderful as always. In this particular visit she took the time to help answer my questions and helped me create a pre-plan to potty training to help gage my toddlers interest in being potty trained. I'm very thorough with my daughter's care as I'm her primary care giver, and I left the visit feeling that all my concerns and questions were answered to my satisfaction.
