Originally from Edmond, OK, Dr. Onwuchuruba has received the A.W. Diddle Award for Outstanding Resident Research and the AAGL Award for advancing minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She has traveled to Guatemala to perform gynecologic surgery on women with advanced prolapse. She hopes to continue to use her education and skills to perform much needed procedures for women in need. Overall, my experience was positive, and the doctor answered all of my questions. My only concern was that the visit felt very rushed. I was with the doctor for only a few minutes, and while she addressed my questions, I left feeling like the appointment was over very quickly. I also wasn't clear on why an in-person visit was necessary, as it seemed like the discussion could have been handled differently. As a first-time mom, I appreciate having enough time to understand what's happening and feel reassured during my appointments.

I love her energy. She made me feel very comfortable and I was able to bring up concerns I had. My doctor has come up with a follow up and game plan to address my needs. Feeling comfortable and heard by my doctor, especially as a new patient is such a relief. It's scray finding a new provider when you're used to being seen by one that gets you, but I'm glad I took this chance.

Dr. O is wonderful. Extremely kind, funny and approachable. Immediately put me at ease. She had just come from the hospital (her nurse told me in case there were delays) but I would never have known otherwise - she came in happy and smiling. Made me feel like I was the most important patient. Incredible doctor.
