On my annual check up each year, Dr. Sylvia Bartee Allen addresses all my concerns. She is polite, pleasant and professional. I am so pleased to have her as my primary care physician.

It was a very nerve wracking morning for me as I traveled I-485 in pouring rain to get to my appointment. My nerves were 'shot' because I knew I was late. Dr. Bartee and her nurse were very understanding and assured me not to worry. I was swapped with another patient who was early. My exam went well, my interaction with Dr. Bartee was great. Even my blood pressure was better than I expected after I probably was almost killed trying to get to the office.

All staff from the front desk, lab tech, x-ray tech, doctor's assistant and Dr. Bartee met my expectation and Gavin the lab tech as well as the nurse assistant to Dr Bartee exceeded my expectation. The x-ray tech was kind and personable she went above and beyond to help me. Dr. Bartee continues to rate as AI in my books, she's personable and makes me feel heard and listened to. She educates me on my health situation, she explains stuff in a way that I can understand. I'll continue to refer my friends and family to her. Good job by all.

The best doctor I've ever had

First, I waited 15 minutes, after I was told to arrive early? The 1st thing Bartee told me was she might not have time to answer all of my questions..a few times, never asked how my fused vertebrae and damaged #4&5 were doing. I thought we had addressed my lithium levels and if we could change them during my last appointment? Then we discussed some basic memory issues. She gave me a simple 3 question situation, based on my saying I was having trouble remembering people’s name…. NOT that I didn’t know WHO they were…. so she said she would make an appointment for me to see a neurologist? Quite frankly the 3 little questions really didn’t make any sense. So, I’m early, she’s late and not much was really accomplished. I’ve always trusted her judgment, and her advice, but not so much today…
