My path to medicine was shaped by personal experience. Having dealt with cardiac problems myself, I became familiar with the healthcare system early on and understood firsthand what it means to be a patient. That experience planted a seed. I started my career as a certified nursing assistant, and while I found deep meaning in that work, I knew I wanted to do more for the people in my care.

Dixie Fulk is very professional and knowledgeable. I felt with such ease talking with her and discussing my concerns with my health.
