I knew I wanted to become a physician at the age of 10. With no doctors in my family, I'm proud to be the first, and that early sense of purpose never wavered. I entered medical school planning to pursue pediatrics, but during my third-year family medicine rotation, I discovered a deeper passion: caring for entire families, particularly mothers and their children, across all stages of life.
