Dr. K seems like a caring and knowledgeable physician with an excellent bedside manner. Unfortunately, my recent visit was confusing and left me feeling that my care was incomplete.During our appointment, she received a phone call and excused herself, which I completely understand can happen in a medical setting. However, after waiting approximately 20 minutes with no communication, I had to ask the staff whether my appointment was over. The nurse indicated she wasn't sure what was happening and said I could leave if I felt that was best.At that point, I had not finished discussing my concerns with Dr. K and was still expecting to review next steps. I proceeded to the lab for the ordered blood work, but Dr. K never returned before I left. Two days later, I still have not received any follow-up or acknowledgment from the office regarding the interrupted visit.I genuinely believe Dr. K is a compassionate physician, which is why this experience was so surprising. I hope this feedback helps improve communication when unexpected interruptions occur so patients know what to expect and don't leave feeling uncertain about their care.
