About

My path to obstetrics and gynecology began long before medical school. Growing up, my first delivery happened on my grandfather's dairy farm. I'll never forget the joy, awe and elation when twin calves were born. The first arrived on its own, but the second was stuck. My grandfather stepped in, aided the delivery and the calf did well.

That moment stayed with me, supporting my vision to become a physician. The strength and determination that goes into birth is powerful and miraculous.
